“A Rua É NOIZ” it’s the periphery on the scene. It is the warrior people of neighborhoods and "Favela" under the reflectors of sunlight and moonlight that illuminate the daily and routine struggle of our strong people.

“A Rua é NOIZ” it's a Sunday in the neighborhood, with clothes hanging on the multi-colored clotheslines and Diana's music playing on the huge “radiola” of the living room; or the sound of Emicida sending the lyrics on hi-tech iPhones. It is therefore a joy only. A sense of people who have a love of life and a caring care for their longtime neighbors. It's a RAP show, because it has rhythm and poetry, and "happy", because it's happy, as Mc Marcinho sings: "We still want to walk quietly ..."

And as in the periphery, there is everything, our dance is also diverse, full of identities, races and genres. It is a celebration of the need for communion of differences. An apology for democracy. It's Brazil shown naked, with the face it has, with no right close, because any angle is valid. It is a portrait of "NOIZ". WE'RE TOGETHER, PARTNER". It is the child running on the street without being on the street. It is also an act in defense of life, for life with dignity. It is a tribute to the “Dandaras” and a repudiation of hate crime.

Our show is serious and talks about social problems, yes! They exist; are here. We feel them on the skin, at lunch time, when the rain falls ... So our body asks for change and manifests itself by equality of race and gender. “I am black, yes; poor white, yes; woman from the end of the world, yes! And? I want the part that fits me in this land!

“A Rua é NOIZ” is a desire to know oneself, to reveal the identities of those who live in every street, alley and housing estate. Our art is engaged. Our story is our pride. History of struggle, work and resistance. Our show is pragmatic and the subject is people, because only they matter.

“Blessed be praised!”
